The acetone has the affect of causing discoloration on the areas it contacts. This process makes the bond between the FANGS and the CLIPS stronger. Apply to both surfaces and wait a few seconds for the acetone to take effect. Next, press the two sides together. Use a clamp for best results. Let the broken part sit for 1 to 2 hrs and you can go back to using the items. In most cases, the new bond is stronger than original.
