ADAPTER INSTALLATION:
- Insure that the set screws are backed out and not protruding past the plastic of the Stem Adapter.
-Unscrew the Versa button bolt until the bolt no longer sticks out past the end of the nut and sits flush with the end of the nut. Approximate distance is 3/8"(do not separate the bolt and nut completely)
- Slide adapter onto the Platform Post, tapered end towards the base.
- Push the adapter towards the base as far as possible and once past the Standoff Teeth, press down to seat the adapter. Take note of where the Versa Button bolt is along with the hole location on the underside of the adapter.
- The adapter needs to be positioned where the bolt hole on the underside rests directly over the 1/4-28x2" bolt for the Versa button.
- If certain that the above locations are aligned, press the adapter to the post firmly and begin to tighten the versa button bolt. (Do not overtighten. Snug is best.)
-Keeping downward pressure on the screw locations, begin to tighten the (4) set screws on both sides of the adapter. Tighten with equal pressure. Do Not Overtighten. The purpose of these screws is to take up any slop between the adapter and post.

- My clips are noisy. How do I fix this?
Straight from the package, your clips will have a "zipper" type sound to them. This comes from the 3D printing process. The more you rub them against the STEM ADAPTER, the less noise they'll make. You can also take some sandpaper to the Adapter and basically knock down the ridges.
- My clips look discolored. Why is that? Does it affect anything?
These clips are Chemically Welded. The acetone used in this process has the affect of causing discoloration on the areas it contacts. This process makes the bond between the FANGS and the CLIPS stronger. It's only a benefit.
- What happens if my Clips crack or break?
If you get into a bind and need to emergency repair your Clips or Fangs, you can do so by applying acetone to the cracked areas. Apply to both surfaces and wait a few seconds for the acetone to take effect. Next, press the two sides together. Use a clamp for best results.
