The Hyperlite Dewclaw was designed so that your rope attachment has a defined location on your stick to loop around and store. A simple product for a simple issue.

INSTALLATION
Choose a location on the outer rim of the stick. Apply a layer of tape. Push the clip onto the stick and tighten the set screw until snug. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. The layer of tape gives the set screw something to bite onto and helps to keep the clip from sliding around.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- My clips look discolored. Why is that? Does it affect anything?
These clips are Chemically Welded. The acetone used in this process has the affect of causing discoloration on the areas it contacts. This process makes the bond between the FANGS and the CLIPS stronger. It's only a benefit.
- What happens if my Clips crack or break?
If you get into a bind and need to emergency repair your Clips or Fangs, you can do so by applying acetone to the cracked areas. Apply to both surfaces and wait a few seconds for the acetone to take effect. Next, press the two sides together. Use a clamp for best results.
